First Annual Rolling Rivlalry Bike Ride

The First Annual Rolling Rivalry Bike Ride was a huge success.  81 riders sporting their school colors departed the west parking lot of Rice Eccles Stadium on their way to Lavell Edwards Stadium in Provo.  Glen Seninger was the first to arrive at Cougar Stadium with a time of 3 hours and 12 minutes.  Congratulations Glen.

We are sincerely grateful for our event sponsors; Garner Jensen Insurance Group; The Zone 1280 Sports Radio; Travelers Insurance; Intermountain Pilates; Bear River Mutual Insurance; Progressive Insurance; Mutual of Enumclaw and United Insurance Group.

Thanks to the generous folks at C3(CustomerContactChannels), which is a national based call center located in Salt Lake, who chose Angel’s Hands Foundation as their charity for this year and presented us with a check for $2500.00.

A special thank you to the great people at Bingham Cyclery for their help and support with the inevitable bike breakdowns and flat tires.  Please support these folks if your looking to buy a bicycle or need some repairs or accessories.

We would also like to acknowledge the Angel’s Hands families who turned out to support the bike ride at the start, feed zones and at the finish.  Great job!

To date the event has raised $8000.00, and we look forward to next year and hope to see 150 riders next time.
